Photos from 1998, 2002, 2005, 2009 and 2010 are available by request, in composite Mr. Sid format, or by individual tiles(.tif).
The photos were all taken in February and March of the given year.
2022 Color Digital Orthophotography. These photos were acquired from the state as part of the Nothern Piedmont and Mountains
Orthoimagery 2022 project. There are 738 tiles at a resolution of 6 inch acquired 02/14/2022.
The larger number of tiles, over previous years, is because we have more photos from the surrounding counties.
2021 Color Digital Orthophotography. These photos consists of tiled orthogonal imagery produced from nadir images captured by Pictometry International.
There are 1826 tiles at a resolution of 3 inch acquired between 02/17/2021 - 04/14/2021.
The larger number of tiles, over previous years, is because we have more photos from the higher resolution.
2018 Color Digital Orthophotography. These photos were acquired from the state as part of the Nothern Piedmont and Mountains
Orthoimagery 2018 project. There are 721 tiles at a resolution of 6 inch acquired 02/09/2018.

Orthoimagery 2014 project. There are 608 tiles at a resolution of 1:200.

2010 Color Digital Orthophotography. These photos were acquired from the state. There are 520 tiles at a resolution of 1:200.
2009 Color Digital Orthophotography. The county joined with a consortium of surrounding counties
to acquire these photos. There are 564 tiles at a resolution of 1:200.
2005 Color Digital Orthophotography. The county joined with a consortium of surrounding counties
to acquire these photos. There are 570 tiles at a resolution of 1:200.
2002 Black and White Digital Orthophotography. There are 1240 tiles at a resolution of 1:200 or 1:400.
1998 Black and White Digital Orthophotography. There are 1288 tiles at a resolution of 1:200 or 1:400.
The Catawba County Government Center Land Records (GIS) Office has electronic copies of 1989-1991 Black and White Orthophotography
and and hard copies of 1973 Color photographs. The Land Records (GIS) Office is located on the first floor of the Government Center. Turn right in
the lobby and the Tax office is the first door on the right. Help is available from the staff.
